Shared transfer from Milan or Turin to Cervinia Nov 24

Page 1 of 2Next

Is anyone interested in sharing a transfer from Turin or Milan to Cervinia? Unfortunately I don't trust my driving skills in Italy so will have to get a transfer but am flexible on flying into either city.

Planning to arrive on the 23rd and leave on the 30th or 1st.

Hi  I am happy to share a taxi transfer or hire car. i am booked on the course from 24th Nov. and have booked the mon reve from 23rd to 30th.  I am london based and havent yet booked flights as thought i would sync with a shared transfer.  I think if you wanted to share a taxi Turin would be cheaper option but if driving Milan Malpensa or Turin would be ok.

Hi Adam, Ktee,

I too am booked on the course from 24 Nov 24 and am flying in to Turin circa 11.00 on 23 Nov 24 from Edinburgh.  I've had a look at the cost and identified:

Taxi fare from Turin airport to Cervinia

Taxis in Turin calculate their fares using a taximeter based on the time and distance travelled to their exact location. You can expect to pay around €230 during the day and €250 at night or on the weekend for your 1-hour 40-minute ride from Turin airport to Cervinia.

Nevertheless, if you wish to travel at a fixed price, with no hidden fees and a friendly English-speaking driver, you can pre-book your Torino Airport transfer with Welcome Pickups.   COST  €230  TRIP DURATION  1 H 40 Min.  *Prices may vary unless booked in advance.

I had considered a hire car, but I'm not convinced it would work out any cheaper and I want to save my nervous energy for the piste!

Would you be interested in sharing with 3 of us (or indeed more); if so, I'm happy to follow up and make firm enquiries.

Best

Joe Martin 🙂

HI Joe

Yes i think that would work saves all the hassle of a hire car and driving.  I can get a Ryanair flight that gets me into Turin at 1010 on 23rd.  I then have 2 options on 30th of a flight out of Turin at either 1035 or 1720 so we would need a return pick up at 0645 ish or 1330 i dont mind either way.  Transfer price sounds good and pre booking best option also for the return.  I assume they can fit 3 with luggage and skis.   Happy for you to find out more and we can all tie in.  I will be offline for 10 days shortly but will respond to anything after that.  I think we have time to sort but will be nice to get it all booked early Aug - then i can book my flight

Many thanks

Adam

Hi Adam, K'tee

Sounds promising; I'm sure K'tee will respond shortly too and we can look at our various flight timings in round.  Coming from Scotland, my flights are a bit more complex as I can't get to Turin direct and am having to fly KLY via Amsterdam.  I can't change my booking times I'm afraid, so need to go with these timings.

My flights are as follow:

23 Nov 24 - ETD Edinburgh 05.50, ETA Turin 11.10

30 Nov 24 - ETD Turin 11.40, ETA Edin 16.15.

I'm not sure if K'tee is included on these exchanges, so I'll "cut 'n paste" and reply to her / him too and that'll ensure there's an e mail sent as well.

Regards

Joe

Hi Adam, Joe

Apologies for the delayed response. I'm flying in from London as well so have been looking at the same flight times as Adam - I think the AM flights seem to tie in well.

Thanks for looking into the cost, Joe. I agree on the pre booked option as well in case there are traffic delays. I won't have skis but will have a bag large enough for boots etc.

Also staying at the Mon Reve and planning to book flights early August as well.

Not sure if youre offline yet Adam, but we can wait till your back to confirm everything.

Regards

Kristin

Hi Kristin,

That's great; and good that you and Adam may be on the same flights.  I envy you two the flight options, it's a nightmare getting out of Scotland - and no such thing as a cheap deal!

Good point on the skis - that'll have impact on the transport!

I'll have a large bag too, plus ski's and separate bootbag, so fairly well loaded - but well balanced!  lol.

Adam, if you can let me know what you're carrying, I'll communicate our requirement to the tax / carrier.

I've e mailed the Academy and asked if they've got a local provider they recommend - which helps tie in to the Academy as well as keeping things local if we need any changes on the return journey.

Given my return flight times, I'm going to need to leave about 08.00 (08.30 at a push) on 30 Nov 24; would you both be OK with that ?

Regards

Joe 🙂
