WSSA – THE VERBIER WINTER COURSES
For over 20 years the Swiss resort of Verbierhas played host as the Warren Smith Ski Academy’swinter home.
In that time we have seen this stunning area grow into one of the world’s top 5 resorts. The available terrain for all skier levels is second to none. Couple that with the ability to access some of Europes best off piste routes from the top of lift stations like the legendary Mont Geleand Mont FortTelecabins and Verbier becomes an infinite playground.
It’s for these reasons the Academycontinue to use this incredible place as the base for our full schedule of Winter courses.
CHOICE OF COURSES
The Academy has designed the courses to build and develop skills and confidence in several areas including piste, moguls, steeps and freeride terrain. The coaches understand that each skier has different strengths and weaknesses that need to be identified and developed. Small group sizes, mean everyone can receive one-on-one feedback. Specific exercises are used through the courses to perfect techniques across the whole mountain and video analysis is used frequently to ensure each learner is clear on their individual action plan.
THE CLASSIC 5 DAY
The Classic 5 daycourses cover a full range of these areas and allow attendees to use specific techniques to ski a wider variety of slopes. If you’re looking to spend a week getting the ultimate breakdown of your technique to allow you to ski the whole mountain with more confidence then our classic Academy 5 day courseis still the number one option for you. These course run with a maximum of 8 people per coach. This course is also available as a 6 Person Maxweek allowing for that extra bit personal attention.

THE MOGUL 5 DAY
If specific improvement in the Mogulsis more your thing then the Academy also run 5 day courses designed to improve in this area. By using precision based drills and activities drawn from world cup athletes, these courses ensure that bumps will no longer have to be avoided!

THE SUPERGROUP 5 DAY
The Academy also offer their flagship Off Piste Supergroup Courses.Run by the Academy’s fully qualified coaches this course is designed to push people to their limits in Verbier’s incredible off piste terrain.

Finally, if you’re tight on time and fancy a break away from the office, look no further than the Weekend Courses.To fit into people’s busy day to day lives and to capitalise on the ease on travelling to Verbier, this course running from Saturday to Sunday gives attendees two days of intense training to help develop technique everywhere on the mountain and all in time to get people back into the office on Monday morning.
The Academy welcome skiers from levels 1 to 6 on our skier level system.

Warren Smith Ski Academy courses in Verbier this coming Winter start from £269 for Weekend courses up to £619 for Supergroups and 6 max courses.The price excludes travel, accommodation and lift passes, which can be booked separately through the Academy’s recommended partners.
